Cheanuh Marina Beecher Bay

Services:Breakwaters

Completed:2024

OVERVIEW

Project Features

The Cheanuh Marina, within the traditional territory of the Sc’ianew First Nation in Beecher Bay, offers yacht moorage and boat charters for sport fishing vessels. The Marina is also home to a newly installed Western Canada Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC) facility and is KOTUG Canada’s west coast base of operations for their spill response vessel and two escort tugs. These facilities were built and installed by Blue Water Systems along side dock and ramp upgrades for the marina, as well as a new 600’ concrete breakwater. The newly installed approach to the KOTUG facility allows for access to the concrete breakwater with an elevated platform and aluminum gangways, and enables the full use of the breakwater as additional moorage.
