In 2014 Blue Water Systems worked at Shuswap Lake installing the marina at Wild Rose Bay. This marina includes a concrete floating wave attenuator or “break water” that measures 600 lineal feet by 10 feet wide and is 7 feet deep. With 4 aluminum headfloats and 53 aluminum finger floats, this marina has capacity for 106 boat slips.
Anchoring the dock
Since Shuswap Lake has a 4 meter seasonal lake level adjustment, Blue Water Systems constructed and installed an anchoring system to accommodate for this using Seaflex elastic anchoring and pin anchor piles.
Access
The 120 foot aluminum pier and 80 foot aluminum gangway are built to provide wheelchair accessibility to the floats.
